Masterclasses : Intensive Individual Work
Each student will have at least 4 individual lessons. Every morning, the public masterclasses will be held in the inspiring salons of the Société de Lecture and the Barbier-Mueller Museum. Both sites are ideally located in the beautiful old city of Geneva.
The two collaborative pianists of the academy will be available for the lessons when required.
Every afternoon, the students get to collaborate with the faculty in chamber music. Chamber groups are formed by the academy, including at least one faculty member. Students are welcome to request repertoire.
One of the goals of the academy is to give the opportunity to the participant to perform as a soloist and in chamber music groups.
6 concerts are organised by the Geneva International String Academy.
The Geneva International String Academy is open to already formed string quartets.
Members of the groups will get individual lessons and/or chamber music coachings with the faculty.
Members of our Board include lawyers, artists, business persons. These dedicated volunteers ensure that the Academy operates to best serve all of its participants and audiences.
