A Viennese cellist and pianist, Ania Druml studied the cello with Christophe Pantillon and, from 2019, with Maria Grün at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), where she began concert studies with Reinhard Latzko in 2021. At the piano she studied with Alma Sauer, then Vladimir Kharin and, since 2022, in concert studies with Stefan Vladar.

Invited to the Geneva International String Academy in 2022 to work with Peter Bruns, and twice to the Kronberg Academy, where she worked with Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt and Frans Helmerson, she made her debut at the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam in 2024; in 2025 she was one of the fifteen cellists selected for the Budapest International Cello Competition.

Her musical partners include Piotr Beczała, Peter Bruns, Benjamin Schmid, Christian Altenburger, Igudesman & Joo and members of the Vienna Philharmonic. With her sister, violinist Sophie Druml, she made her debut in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein in 2020. With the Chursächsische Philharmonie she has performed both of Haydn’s cello concertos.
